Refinement: Saved notes
Logic:
when saving points, they are saved for different reasons, fishing spot, diving spot, wind/wave shelter ...etc
It would be useful to add free form notes to describe the point ( date, time, type of fish, fishing techniques...etc)
the notes can be added at the time of saving, and also edited or added from the information panel at the bottom when you select the point on the map
I don't know how the kml file is structured, but if the notes can exprted, this would be a bonus

Yes, this is a useful addition. I’ll add free-form notes for saved points in the next version.
The notes will be editable after the point has been saved as well. I’ll also check the KML/GPX export format and include the notes in the exported file where possible.

Thanks for the suggestion! We currently have a “Name” field when saving a location, as shown in the screenshot. Just to confirm, would you like a separate “Notes” field in addition to the name, where you can add more detailed information?
yes, separate field where I can add details about the point like date, type of spot (fishing, diving, shelter...etc)

The Notes field is currently inside the “Rename” option. If you tap Rename on a saved point, you should see the Notes field there.
I agree that “Rename” is not very clear now that this screen also contains Notes, so I’ll rename this option to “Edit”.
